I’ve been putting this off for so long, and it *had* to get done eventually. Judging from the pictures below, I wouldn’t be surprised if people thought I was some hobo baglady living out of my car. It isn’t washed yet because I know we have a very wet storm season up ahead, but I cleaned up the inside and my car is actually presentable again. I can actually drive and have people in my car to go places!
Before…

Front and passenger seat.

Back seat complete with black trash bags full of shit. No, I’m not homeless.

The trunk, full of junk: bike rack, motor oil, antifreeze, umbrellas, Godiva bag with a present for my parents, and crutches (just in case..).
Yeah, I don’t know if it’s such a good idea to have motor oil and antifreeze next to a bag of perishables meant as a gift for my parents, but whatever. On to the After pictures!
After!

Front and passenger seat. The rugs still have some stains, but I plan to get these professionally cleaned.

Backseat. Nothing but my gym bag with my Tae Kwon Do stuff.

Trunk, not quite so full of junk: keeping the bike rack, bike helmet, funnel, papertowels, First Aid kit (just in case), travel Scrabble (just in case), and the gift for my parents.
Having a clean car is going to be a nice way to start the new year, I think. I’m going to try and keep my car this clean for at least six months. That means everytime I or someone else eats in it, I’m making them take their trash, no more throwing Mapquest directions and Starbucks straw wrappers on the floor, and I will try to replenish the Pear-flavored Pine Freshener. It’ll keep my car smelling delicious.
