Triathlon Shmiathlon
Me: (Looking at a triathlon schedule for 2011.) Hmm, the Stanford Treeathlon...
Blaine: Treeathlon? Is that one where you climb on trees?
Me: No, it's quarter-mile swim, a 12-mile bike ride, and a 3-mile run through Redwood City. Redwoods, you see. It doesn't seem like much of a challenge. Hey, YOU should do it with me! YOU can do the Treeathlon!
Blaine: No, but I can do the BE-ATHLON.
Me: Which one's that? (Thinking "Bee-athlon," the one where you run from bees.)
Blaine: That's the one where you leave me be.
